How the project is run

Mochimochi Kit is a solo side project that bundles lightweight productivity tools you can run entirely in your browser. The core promise is simple: no installs, no sign-up walls, and a workflow that stays snappy even when you are in a hurry.

Who builds Mochimochi Kit?

The tools are designed, coded, and supported by seritake, a front-end engineer who has spent over a decade building web applications and internal systems. The goal is to ship pragmatic utilities that fill the gaps left by large suites and heavyweight desktop apps.

Support requests and bug reports are usually answered within one to two business days, and actionable feedback is folded into the roadmap as quickly as possible. You can keep track of notable updates on the home page in the trust section.

Merge, split, and rotate PDFs locally. Your documents stay in your browser and never touch a remote server.

Image compression

Batch convert HEIC to JPEG/PNG/WebP, fine-tune quality, and resize optimised assets in seconds.

QR code generator

Produce sharp QR codes with brand colours and export them as SVG, PNG, or PDF for print and digital campaigns.

Date calculators

Automate business-day counts, Japanese era conversions, and school-year lookups for administrative work.

Data handling and privacy

All tools are engineered to run entirely in your browser. Files and text you drop into a tool are processed locally and are never uploaded or stored on a server. Analytics is limited to anonymised page metrics as described in the privacy policy, and no personally identifiable information is collected.

Messages sent via the contact form are delivered through AWS SES directly to the maintainer’s inbox and are not reused for any secondary purpose. If you discover a security concern, please reach out through the contact form so it can be triaged quickly.

Monetisation and advertising

Mochimochi Kit remains free to use. Operational costs are covered in part by Google AdSense placements. Ads are kept to unobtrusive spots so they do not interfere with the tools themselves.
